DESCRIPTION

Handmade by artisans from the Colombian Amazon, these puppets are made from tree bark —a natural, thin and flexible material— painted with pigments extracted from nature.

Each piece is made up of two identical silhouettes of the animal (front and back), carefully hand-sewn with thick thread, giving shape to a light body that retains the texture and gesture of the natural material.

They can function as decorative objects with a small filling inside so that they can stand upright, becoming a unique figure within the space.

No two are alike; each piece has natural variations that make it unique.
